Labor Day Workshop Sunday September 1, at 12:30 PM
The “SUMMER OF SOLIDARITY TOUR” will visit the Onion Sunday. The President of USW Local 3657 in Pittsburgh, PA, Patrick Young, will speak at the 10:30 AM Service followed by a fellowship hour with refreshments. The 12:30 PM Workshop on labor tactics and innovative community organizing strategies dealing with Labor Struggles, Car Wash Workers, Sweatshops, Banks and Mortgages will include their “Report from the Road” with a film of what they have been doing since the “SUMMER OF SOLIDARITY” tour started on August 16th.
